$45,000 raised to Fork Cancer

The Longest Table’s passionate Ambassadors Adelady and G-Fresh raised an amazing $45,000 continuing their fight to fork cancer!

The team once again held their annual dinner for The Longest Table on Saturday 27 July 2019 at the Freemasons Hall.

The night was an incredible success, with people coming together for one purpose – fighting against breast cancer. Unfortunately, breast cancer is no stranger to Adelady duo Hayley Pearson and Lauren De Cesere who both personally experienced the harsh reality of cancer when both their mothers were diagnosed with breast cancer.

“Thankfully both our mothers got through breast cancer and are now in remission, but we know this isn’t the reality for many people out there, which is why we host a Longest Table each year,” Lauren said.

“We are thrilled to have raised $45,000 towards breast cancer! By holding this fundraiser, we are joining the fight against breast cancer so we can stop the heartbreak it causes families,” Hayley said.

The G-Fresh team have been fantastic supporters and are continuing the fight against breast cancer.

Peter Economou, one of the three directors at SA Spice (G-Fresh) said: “We are just blown away by the generosity of our little community!

We would like to thank everyone who helped us make our third Longest Table event with Adelady a huge success.”

“Everyone played their part by donating much- needed time, auction items and money. We have visited the Centre for Cancer Biology facilities here in Adelaide and know their staff are so appreciative of everyone’s donations. Thank you!”
