AAA Talent Team Forking Cancer with Us!
The very talented AAA talent team helped us #forkcancer both on and off screen for this year’s Longest Table!
Kindly donating their time to be involved in our Longest Table social media videos, the AAA Talent Team also rallied together to host their own Longest Table dinner – Christmas in July themed!
We had a chat with AAA Accounts Manager Carol Lawton about their forking awesome Longest Table held on July 15th and their reasons for wanting to give cancer the middle finger.
“I participated in the video series and was struck by the passion and dedication of everybody involved in their desire to raise as much money as possible to defeat cancer,” Carol said.
“The stories about the research funded by The Hospital Research Foundation are incredibly encouraging and have the possibility of saving and improving so many lives that I just wanted to get involved in the fundraising.”
Carol said their Christmas in July night involved lots of decorations, costumes and plenty of Christmas spirit! Most importantly, having had cancer touch her own life and the life of so many others, Carol hopes research will see a future free of cancer altogether.
“A future free of cancer would mean the possibility of helping my Mum live a comfortable life, free from the regimen of treatments that she has to undertake to try and fight her lung cancer.
“It would mean a world where people share more survival stories rather than the tragedy of losing people close to us because there was nothing more that could be done.
“Amazing work is being done and I am excited by the possibility that a future free of cancer might be the reality sooner rather than later.”
Thank you Carol and the AAA Talent Team for helping out and doing such an awesome job of forking cancer!
