Highlights from the Official Night!

The paparazzi were out and about in Adelaide for our official Longest Table Day on Saturday 23 July!

We visited five generous Longest Table hosts at their fabulous events with plenty of delicious food! There were too many highlights to count… but here are our favourite moments from our incredible hosts lifesaving events:

 

Para Hills Soccer Club drag queen bingo 💃​

Para Hills West Soccer Club had an absolute hoot of a time at their drag queen bingo night! The queens had stacks of prizes up for grabs, including SIGNED jerseys from Adelaide United, Adelaide Crows and Port Power.

Gareth’s 5 course African degustation 🍽️​

Gareth hosted his Longest Table with a black and white theme and a mouth-watering 5 course menu. Together, Gareth and his guests raised over $2000! Catch a glimpse of his beautiful creations below:

Bek’s Australiana degustation 🦘​

Bek created an amazing menu dedicated to all things Australia! Starting with camp fired damper with Fleurieu ricotta and blue gum honey, Bek’s guests moved onto a main course of saltbush lamb and finished off with a classic Anzac biscuit dessert with a twist of desert lime curd, plum ice-cream and wattle seed. Yum! Bek’s guests dressed up and Steve Irwin even made an appearance!

Loyal ambassador Brenton Jolly’s night in Modena 🍝​

As always, long-time host Brenton Jolly put on an amazing Longest Table! Brenton’s night in Modena had wine flowing and corks popping in between delicious courses of oysters and a 24-hour slowed cooked Beef Ragu! His passion for forking cancer is next level, and we’re so grateful for his dedication.

Rachael’s Mexican themed Longest Table 🌮

Rachel spiced up her Longest Table with a Mexican Fiesta! Rachel is fighting for cancer research because of her own ovarian cancer diagnosis. Getting together with her family and friends to support cancer research is so important to her, and we cannot thank her enough for hosting!
