Longest Table BBQ Style!

Stephen Mills is back for his third year of hosting a Longest Table, joining forces with his American BBQ Competition team to put on a BBQ bonanza for his guests all in the name of giving cancer the middle finger!

“I’m one of four members of an American BBQ team called Porkys Pit BBQ. In April our team went to Melbourne for the National Meat Stock BBQ Competition and we came second for our competition pork! On the night of our Longest Table we’ll be serving up our award winning pork, along with chicken and beef brisket!”

Dishing up their award winning meat is bringing the crowd to Stephen’s home, where he’ll be hosting his Longest Table on the official day of July 22.

“I’ve got my three team members helping me out on the day. We’ll set up in my BBQ trailer parked out the front of my house and we’ll be smoking all night, as it will take anywhere between 14 to 16 hours for the meat to cook!

Whilst it’s a bit of fun for Stephen, he keeps coming back to the Longest Table to raise money for research and see an end to cancer for good.

“This is my third year coming back to The Longest Table, I just want to give back and help the community. Raising money for cancer research is very close to my heart,” Stephen said.

“I’m hoping to raise over $1,200 this year. I’ll have a donation box out for my guests to donate, and I will also be holding a raffle on the day with products donated by our team sponsors including a coffee machine!”
