The Pellizzari’s Unite to #forkcancer

Cancer is no stranger to the Pellizzari family who is hosting a Longest Table for a third time, wanting to raise as much funds as possible towards cancer research.

Loving mother Kylie says they are hosting their table to fight cancer for her loved ones.

“Unfortunately, our son Jonathon was diagnosed with parotid acinic cell carcinoma, which is a rare form of cancer, on his 13th birthday four years ago and thankfully is now cancer free,” Kylie said.

“My beautiful sister in law was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer last year. We know that there are many more families just like ours and we are hosting this table to help raise funds for the much-needed research into finding effective treatments and hopefully a cure for this insidious disease.”

Kylie is hosting her Longest Table as a lunch on Sunday 28 July with 50 of her close family and friends.

“We are hosting a pasta and wine lunch with live music and open fires; we want this lunch to be a laid-back afternoon spent with friends and family,” Kylie said.

They are also including raffles and a door prize as a way of raising funds and reach their fundraising goal of $1,200!

“We are very passionate about raising awareness about cancer as we know cancer does not discriminate. Research is key to getting better treatments and hopefully one day a cure.”
