🎲 Roll 20 for Research

Every donation is a critical hit against cancer.

I'm hosting my very first fundraiser as part of The Longest Table, raising funds for life-changing cancer research. While I'm fortunate not to have close family members affected by cancer, I want to do my part to help keep it that way for others.

This year's fundraiser, Roll 20 for Research, combines my love of gaming with a cause that deserves more awareness: male breast cancer.

Most people know that breast cancer affects women, but many are surprised to learn that men can develop breast cancer too (https://australianbreastcancer.org.au/news-stories/latest-news/it-happens-to-men-too/).

In Australia, an estimated 207 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2025, and the lifetime risk for men is estimated at 1 in 612. (https://www.bcna.org.au/resources/about-breast-cancer/breast-cancer-statistics-in-australia)

Worldwide, male breast cancer remains rare at approximately 0.5% to 1% of cases (https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/breast-cancer) but it is a real and often overlooked disease.

The lack of awareness means many men do not realise they can get breast cancer, potentially delaying diagnosis and treatment. By supporting this fundraiser, you're not only helping fund cancer research—you’re also helping start conversations that can save lives.

Join me at Roll 20 for Research as we gather around the table, share a meal, and support a future where fewer families are affected by cancer.

Why donate?

✅ Support life-changing cancer research

✅ Raise awareness of male breast cancer

✅ Help fund better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment outcomes

✅ Prove that even gamers can make a real-world impact

Thank you for helping this first-time fundraiser score a natural 20.
