I'm hosting a Longest Table to raise money for life-changing cancer research. Sadly, almost 452 Australians are diagnosed with cancer every day - that's 74 friends, parents, workmates and kids during the time it takes to host a meal.

Why I'm doing this

I recently lost a dear friend to cancer. Lisa was a strong, beautiful, kind and generous woman. Lisa would help anyone in need, even if it meant she would have to miss out on something for herself. When she found out she was sick she didn't ask for pity or sympathy, she simply got on with her daily life. Unfortunately her diagnosis was deemed terminal soon after initial discovery. Lisa fought hard and gave the fuc*en cancer a run for its money but regrettably the cancer ultimately won. So I'm doing this in her honour. I'm asking for people to give as much as they can. Even $10 can help. So please sign into your change pockets and purses and donate. I know Lisa would greatly appreciate any help you can give.
