I'm helping to #ForkCancer by hosting a Longest Table!
In April this year we received the devastating news that Chris had a rare and aggressive cancer called Leimyosarcoma (LMS). Not only was it rare but it was also in a rare location being present in his palate, Sinus and nasal area. He had to undergo lifechanging major surgery to remove the tumour as well as radiotherapy and possibly chemotherapy. We are still at the very beginning of Chris's battle but are confident in the amazing medical team that he has looking after him. Having this great team is one of the reasons we have decided to support this amazing cause and raise money to help those battling, those survivors and those who sadly lost their battle to this awful disease.
Until now, Chris asked for privacy and kept his battle amongst immediate family and close friends only. In order to raise vital funds we now feel it is time to share Chris's story and together #ForkCancer.
