20th August 2025 10am to 12pm Tickets $20 cake and coffee supplied Pier Village Cafe Hervey Bay Raffle on Day We're  hosting a Longest Table to raise money for life-changing cancer research. Sadly, almost 452 Australians are diagnosed with cancer every day - that's 74 friends, parents, workmates and kids during the time it takes to host a meal.

Please donate to my Table - every dollar raised helps change these statistics by funding life-changing cancer research through The Hospital Research Foundation Group.

Fraser Coast Community Champions Unite to Host 'The Longest Table' for Cancer Fundraising

 "The Longest Table," to the local community. This collaborative effort aims to raise vital funds for cancer research, uniting residents for an evening of generosity and shared purpose.  A dedicated fundraising page on "The Longest Table" website, hosted by Sue Dodd, a director of the We've Got You Foundation and co-manager of Nurse Next Door Fraser Coast, confirms the joint initiative.The page has set a fundraising goal of $500, with an event date listed on 20th August, 2025 Pier Village Cafe Urangan.

"The Longest Table" is a national campaign that encourages individuals and groups to host dining events to support cancer research.

Nurse Next Door Fraser Coast is a well-established provider of in-home aged care and disability support services in the region. They are now My Aged Care Registered Provider.  The organization, led by the mother-daughter team of Sue and Nadine Dodd, is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of their clients and the broader community.

The We've Got You Foundation is a local charity dedicated to bridging the gaps in health, wellbeing, and transport services for those in need on the Fraser Coast. Founded out of a desire to support vulnerable community members, the foundation provides practical assistance where it is needed most.The connection between the two organizations is strong, with Sue Dodd playing a key leadership role in both.

Event will be held 20th August 2025 10am to 12pm Pier Village Cafe $20 to attend coffee and cake will be supplied and raffle on the day. All proceeds will go to Cancer Research. Community members interested in supporting this important cause can turn up on the day.
