I'm helping to #ForkCancer by hosting a Longest Table!

On  Sunday 7th  July, 

At Mackay Northern Beaches Bowls Club

11am to 2pm 

We will be hosting the longest grazing table event in honour of Karen Rogers.

Mango Junction will be our entertainment, with a few special guests.

Cost per ticket - $40 each

Prizes and raffles

Raise money for life-changing cancer research. Sadly, almost 444 Australians are diagnosed with cancer every day - that's 74 friends, parents, workmates and kids during the time it takes to host a meal.

12 Months ago on May 1st 2023, i was diagnosed with Advanced Mucosal Melanoma. it really didn't look good for me.
with the dedicated team from Townsville university Hospital and my oral surgeon Dr Pedro. i completed 6 weeks of radiation. 12 months of immunotherapy (2 treatments to go)
2 PET scans have both been clear.
To everyone that is having a bad time right now. Stay strong. You can do this. surround yourself with your friends and family.
i wouldn't have been able to get through this without my people right by my side helping me push through. Yes, you will have bad days, but you will also have many great days.
When you feel you have no fight left in you, fight harder. I'm much too stubborn to give in and so are you.
If you feel you have nothing left contact me. I'll be there.
i started back at work on Monday at Northern Beaches Bowls Club, my second family. I'm so grateful to work with a great, crazy bunch of people.
take care of yourself and also be kind to yourself as well.
